Im Sommer letzten Jahres haben meine Freundin und ich unseren Tauchurlaub auf den Malediven verbracht. Von Frankfurt aus gibt es Direktflüge auf die Insel Hulhulé in der Nähe der Hauptstadt Malé. Von dort ging es mit dem Wasserflugzug etwa 45 min. zur Insel Kuredu, allein dies Erlebnis war schon die Reise wert. Das Hotel-Resort übertraf alle unsere Erwartungen und hat uns während des Aufenthalts rundum verwöhnt. Das Beste aber waren die Tauchtouren die wir während unseres Urlaubs unternommen haben. Da wir beide Tauchanfänger sind, waren wir zunächst etwas skeptisch ob sich auch uns die vielgelobte Unterwasserwelt einer Malediven-Tauchreise eröffnen würde. Völlig unbegründet, wie sich dann herausstellte. Etwa 45 Tauch-und Schnorchelgründe für Taucher jeden Levels soll es auf Kuredu geben. Wir starteten erstmal mit einer Schnorcheltour am Hausriff bevor wir uns auch geführten Tauchtouren anschlossen. Was soll ich sagen ausser:”Wow!”. Korallengärten so weit das Auge reicht, Fischschwärme in allen Größen und Farben, auch Mantas, Rochen und Delphine sind uns begegnet. Wir haben sogar graue Riffhaie beobachten können, das wohl beeindruckendste Erlebnis auf unseren Tauchgängen. Obwohl wir in Vorbereitung auf unseren Urlaub auf verschiedenen Internetportalen wie z.B. Malediven Tauchreisen bereits erste Eindrücke von der Schönheit der Unterwasserwelt gesammelt hatten, hat uns die Realität dann doch einfach nur überwältigt! Mit einer durchschnittlichen Wassertemperatur zwischen 26 und 29* und Aussentemperaturen von ca. 30* war der Tauchgang ausserdem für uns wie ein lauwarmes Bad. Die Ausrüstung für die Unterwasserausflüge haben wir uns einfach gegen einen kleine Aufpreis in der Tauchschule leihen können. Dort hat man uns auch super informiert wie wir uns unter Wasser verhalten sollen. Überhaupt war die Crew sehr kompetent und immer freundlich, sowie zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit.
Alles in allem war dies also mehr als nur ein gelungener Urlaub. Übrigens haben wir gehört, dass man auch toll auf sogenannten Tauchsafarischiffen urlauben kann, ein Tipp den wir bei unserem nächsten Maledivenurlaub vielleicht beherzigen werden.

Call your mother. Call your friends. Call the lady from the wake-up call service in your city. But, whatever you do, never call him. If he doesn’t call you, it means he’s probably not interested in you. If you call him, he will most likely agree to a date with you simply to humor or distract you, but this is not your goal. If you do see him on one of these chance encounters, he will say something like “What are you doing here?” or, “I have never see you here before”. Be ready with your responses. Tell him your girlfriend is a member and recommended it or something like that.
Being able to magically appear in the places he might be hanging out is an important part of the planning process. During your encounters with your Sugar Daddy, ask discreet, and I mean discreet, questions about his friends, places he frequents like the gym or the golf club and these will be the places you might look when searching for the Sugar Daddy. These places will also become good hunting ground in the future if your current arrangement doesn’t work out the way you plan. This technique also helps because your actual or potential Sugar Daddy will think you have similar interests. You can even take it one step further and start eating lunch at the diner round the corner from his office, or even solicit his services. If he is an accountant, perhaps you can ask him for some tax advice and if he is a financial advisor, perhaps he can help you with some investment advice. Of course, if you don’t have any money, you will need to be more creative than this, but the general idea is that you are suddenly in his office, sugar daddy 4 me looking professionally seductive and you maintain yourself at the top of his mind. Before embarking on these tactics, you should probably rent Fatal Attraction and study Glenn Close’s behavior so you know what not to do!!!
In all aspects of the relationship, from telephone conversations to dates and encounters, you need to make sure you are in control. Never let him be the first to say goodbye or the one who ends the telephone conversation. Let him know you have “something to do”, bid him goodbye and be polite, saying that “it has been a pleasure chatting with you”. Don’t try to drag the conversation out, rather cut it short, leaving him keen to talk to you again soon.

Theia Liveaboard Cruise Update

Divers will enjoy two or three dives each day.  So far, they have enjoyed some awesome dives, including a dive at Boduhithi Thila in the North Male Atoll, where they saw a variety of sharks and some stingrays.

The next dive was at Rasdhoo Madivaru in the Rasdhoo Atoll, where they saw three manta rays, white tip, black tip and grey reef sharks and enjoyed excellent visibility.  Several dives were held at the Rasdhoo Madivaru since it is such a spectacular dive site, and during a morning dive at the site, the group was lucky enough to see a group of hammerhead sharks and ten mobular rays.

After the Rasdhoo Madivaru, Theia moved on to Bathala Maaga Kan Thila where divers were treated to an amazing grey reef shark show!

Theia is definitely one of the most spectacular boats in the Maldives today.  These photos show some of her characteristics and amenities.

Theia, like all liveaboards in the Maldives, is accompanied by an additional dive boat, known as a dive dhoni, from where all the dives are carried out.  All equipment is stored on this boat, making the guest experience on board even more comfortable since there is no need to carry dive gear from the main ship on to a secondary boat.  The dive dhoni also carries first aid and emergency equipment in case something should go wrong during the dive.  The compressor is also kept on the dhoni, so there is never any noise from the compressor on the main boat.
